To install a new Air Temperature Intake Inlet Sensor, first, locate the sensor in the air intake system, usually mounted near the air filter or throttle body. Ensure the engine is cool and the ignition is off. Disconnect the electrical connector from the old sensor, carefully removing any retaining clips or screws. Slide the old sensor out of its mounting bracket and inspect the bracket and sensor port for debris or damage. Fit the new sensor in place, aligning it perfectly with the mounting bracket and securing it with the retaining clip or screw. Reattach the electrical connector, ensuring a secure and snug fit. Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes to allow the sensor to begin transmitting temperature data. Use a diagnostic tool to verify that the sensor is functioning correctly and transmitting accurate data to the vehicle's computer systems. If any issues are detected, refer to the vehicle's service manual for troubleshooting steps.
