Installation Instruction for Piston Ring Set
To install your Piston Ring Set, first clean and prepare the piston and cylinder assembly. Carefully fit the top compression ring into its designated groove on the piston, ensuring it sits correctly according to the manufacturer's guidelines. Lubricate the rings and cylinder wall with engine oil. Slide the second ring, typically a scraper design, into the next groove, followed by the oil control ring in the lower groove. Utilize a piston ring compressor to press the piston into the cylinder without bending the rings. Once in place, check the rings for proper alignment and freedom of movement by gently turning the piston.
